Distance Learning Center Class Room

We recognize that there are many English-speakers around the world who want sincerely to be Torah-observant Jews. Whether they have chosen to become Jewish, or whether their Jewish education was inadequate, their need to learn is real and pressing. Often, they have few, if any, resources, other than impersonal, pre-recorded material, however informative. Many of the available online chat rooms are either in an inappropriate environment or are, themselves, inappropriate for the serious student.

Additionally, there are students who don't have unlimited access to a computer or a high-speed internet connection. In response to this need, Ohel Sarah Imenu has secured a private conference room which is accessed by the telephone. To be sure, the conference call is not a substitute for in-person contact, whether in a group or one-on-one. However, when distance precludes in-person contact, the Distance Learning Center Class Room can temporarily fill the gap, providing the possibility either for participation in classes or one-on-one mentoring, either in the women-only or men-only class room setting or a one-on-one woman-to-woman or man-to-man consultation.

All students are required to complete the same application process, whether they are applying to our class room in Jerusalem or the Distance Learning Center. Fees are structured according to the class schedule. For an appointment to be interviewed in the Distance Learning Center Conference Room, please contact us in the U.S. (732) 276-1642 or
